For each quality promotion strategy for your blog, there are other 3 or 4 very bad. Using bad strategies, you can go to a complicated position where you won´t have any success.
Succeed with a blog or in the blogosphere takes time, and have success or not are two things very close. Many times what differ between a succeed blog and a failure blog is just a simple thing.
If your aim is to achieve success in
the blogosphere, don´t you expect to have success in 5 or 6 months and don´t desperate to be successful, because that can leave you to some errors that thousands of people already made because of that.
But let´s talk now about 7 of the worst promotion strategies for your blog!
1. Leave comments "very good!" in other blogs
I´ve already said here in other article that a good strategie is comment on other blogs. And that is true. But, you can´t leave any comment on the blog. There are some rules so you can pass a good image of you to the persons who read your comments. When you leave a comment on other blog, you must be sincere, the comment must be relevant and must add value to the persons who read your comment. If you only say “Very good post” you don´t do that and people won´t give you any value.
2. Join the forums only to promote
The discussion Forums are a great way to direct traffic to your blog, IF your strategy is mounted correctly. Place a link or banner of your blog in your signature, and interact and help the community. Being in a discussion forum is a principle of help and be helped, not exactly promote a blog. If you add constantly value to the Forum and discussion topics, is guaranteed that you will see your traffic levels rise.
3. Use all the social networks
Do you use all the social networks to promote your blog? Be careful. Again, using this strategie is good but in the right proportions. Your work and your aim should be not abuse these advantages. If you write quality content on your blog, believe that you´ll be recognized for it. If you force your popularity quickly, you´ll be recognized as a spammer.
4. Writing for search engines
It is logical that any blogger want to be first in Google for several search terms. However, as the reader, I'm looking for good content. The excess use of keywords and the creation of content only for search engines, usually causes users to move quickly from your blog.
Don´t you forget that many of the paratroopers into your blog through search engines, eventually exit and you can't build an audience of quality.
5. Too many links and banners
Have you ever been in a blog with many links and banners for social networks of all kinds and forms? And some of the bloggers even use some widgets, scripts and related to show the visitors the quantity of friends who share their photos, descriptions, among other information.
Did you like to be in that blog? You won´t win anything with that, and you even loose for sure, because your blog will be extremely polluted visually. Google won in war with Yahoo by its simplicity. What you want is to highlight briefly your contents, is that what can give you success.
6. Copy ideas or styles
Nowadays there are many people who steal logos, templates, styles and designs.
Today it´s common that someone find some successful blog in a particular area of business and copy the idea to create a product precisely identical, or steal parts of their style or even portions of code CSS and images. “If I have the same style and the same idea, I will probably also be successful”. In fact you probably won´t have success! Never forget that you will never be as original as the original.
Never forget that someone who is genuine have always more advantages than someone who simply copy the style.
If you want to become the best in your area, you must show something never seen before. You must create relevant things. You can try to understand what your competitors do and make something different.
7. Automatic submission systems
Did you ever received an email announcing “Place your website in thousands of search engines”?
This type of service is simply a waste of time and money and something you certainly don't need. The only search engines that are worth are Google, Bing and Yahoo. More than that you really won´t need.
And these are 7 of the many bad strategies you can make to promote your blog. This is even more important than make good strategies, because one of this bad strategies can make your blog to failure. Even if you are making some others good strategies. So, always have this in mind when you want to promote your blog.

The truth is that it varies greatly the value of 1 click on AdSense. We can have 100 clicks in a day, but gain only 10$, and we may have only 10 clicks a day but earn 20$. Everything is very relative, although there are some types of topics that may

happens to you, i will leave here some tips on how to promote your blog to have many visits and with that you can make the most of your blog:
a) do not advertise your blog without first having already some posts published. The ideal will be between 5 to 10 so who arrive at your blog has already there some content to read and can be pleased with the blog so he return to read more posts.
b) use social networking sites to promote your blog (without appearing to be SPAM). It is likely that if you speak well of your blog at those sites, many users will visit your site and some may be visitors daily, if they like the content. Some examples of such sites are the hi5, MySpace, Facebook, twitter, etc.
c) go to blogs in the same theme and comment on articles, provided that they are quality reviews. The persons will think you realize it and will want to know more about you. There you can say that you also have a blog on the same theme and people will certainly want to visit it.
d) update the blog often. The ideal will be updating the blog every day, but at least 3 times per week is required.
(e) create links to other blogs in the same subject. This will take visitors from your blog to go to these other blogs which can help to gain backlinks.
f) offer something in the blog. May be ebooks or anything else, but this may generate more visits.
g) submit your site to blog directories and search engines such as Google.
h) participate in forums and in our signature leave a link to your blog. If your comments are good, you will win visits certainly.
i) don't expect to make big money in the beginning. The essential point at the beginning is to focus on getting plenty of visitors. Blog exploitation will come after.
j) ensure feedback to your posts. When you go to a blog where articles have comments it gets the idea that blog is of big quality.
